Dämmerung is located in Glenwood, Alberta Canada. It is a small village near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We fell in love with these gentle giants when we acquired our first Bullmastiff in 1999. Unfortunately she was lacking in many areas of confirmation and health. That is when we decided to look into breeding .We had a high standard for health, beauty and temperament. We wanted dogs that met or excelled the bred standard, had excellent overall health, long life spans (for Bullmastiffs) and temperaments that we knew we could depend on and be proud of. We researched many different kennels and imported some of the best bloodlines the Bullmastiff breed has to offer. We found dogs that we felt filled our requirements from many different countries. A lot of people ask us why we import so much from Europe. Many of the bloodlines we have introduced into our kennel are from old genetics that have been very influential in the Bullmastiff breed, and have had a major impact on the breed over the last 40 years. We want the people who decide to bring home one our puppies to know they are getting a happy & healthy new addition. We know you will be satisfied with one of our babies as they are not just our passion but members of our family as well.
